Zack woke me up before he left for work this morning, as he usually does, to kiss me goodbye and tell me to have a good day. He told me that he experienced a moment of panic this morning; when he rolled over to look at me in bed as his alarm went off, he thought I was SisterKaty. He went so far as to pulled the covers off my face to make sure I was, in fact, his wife. I guess I can’t believe him anymore when he tells me that he doesn’t think SisterKaty and I look alike.

I liked the pictures.
Nice pictures. The ones where you’re hiking made me wonder if you ever finished the p90x training? Did you get the results you hoped for? I only ask because I’ve been looking to start a new exercise plan and was curious if that one really works as well as it claims.
The truth is, Mary, that after week 5, Zack and I lost our P90X zeal. I have no doubt that it would have transformed me after 90 days of that living hell, but I simply didn’t have the time. I have kept some of the eating habits that I learned from the program, but I wasn’t able to maintain the time commitment that P90X demanded.
TODAY I am starting a new, more personally tailored, more time-friendly workout program. I’ll post about it soon. I’ve been avoiding admitting defeat on the blog for too long now.
Is it wrong that I look at the title, “Two Quickies,” then look at the first word of the post, ‘Zack,’ and immediately think you’re going to be telling us about something else?
Ha ha to Dante’s post. Sarah, thanks for response on p90x. Like you, I don’t think I have enough time for that program. Do post, though, if you find another program you like. I get bored easily when it comes to exercise, so I’m always looking for something new
That Dante is one sharp cookie. And I could have sworn you lasted more than five weeks on P90X. Seriously.
We did about 2 1/2 weeks after the 5 week mark, meaning that we tried week 6 and week 7, but didn’t get very far with either of them. After that we just quit messing with it.
