Tonight Zack and I went to my cousin Allison’s wedding. We sat at a table with a whole host of my cousins and a few of my aunts. Because my mom is the 8th kid (of 9), almost everyone in my extended maternal family is older than me. This means that most of my cousins are married with families of their own.
My cousin Carol was at our table with her two fantastically well-behaved children. I swear to you, those kids never did one inappropriate thing all night long. It was bizarre. Kind of like living in an alternate universe where children do what they are supposed to do and mind their manners. I didn’t know how to deal with it. So instead, I just took a lot of pictures of them.
On the other side of the table was my cousin Heather’s kiddo, Liam, who is the happiest 9 month old baby known to mankind. Liam took a special liking to Zack during the evening. Whenever Zack would catch Liam’s eye from across the table, Liam would break out into this massive over-the-top grin and start getting so excited. It was incredibly cute. I’ve never seen a child so enamored with someone in my life, much less someone that child had never met before. Liam was TOTALLY crushing on Zack. Hardcore. And it was heart-meltingly cute.
Being at that table with those three kiddos was almost enough to make one re-consider one’s life-long standing against having children.
Almost.
But not quite.
But Heather & Carol, take heed: Zack and I are free for baby-sitting.

I swear, I really am going to post a ton of pictures tomorrow. Stay tuned.
What!? You’re saying my amazingly well behaved children do not make you reconsider your childless state?! I’m so offended…
You know there’s no kids I love more in this world than your children. These particular kids were just so… mannequinish. It was hard not to be like, “MAN, THAT WOULD BE EASY.” When I’m around your kids, I’m like, “MAN THIS IS FUN.” Fun and Easy are so so so different.
You have done such a great job on the pic thank you so much. Love ya
