Working out makes time go by in a zip! When you’re working out consistently, time starts to play tricks on you. You say things like, man! I’ve been working out forever! I’m on a roll! This is a real-life HABIT now. It’s INGRAINED IN ME. But really, you’ve just been working out for four days in a row. Nice try, buddy. You’re not that awesome yet. But doesn’t it feel fast? Working-out-time feels so fast.
Another way working-out-time feels fast is in how it’s always time to work out again. You finish at the gym, go take a shower, take a quick nap and OH, LOOK. It’s time to go try to kill yourself at the gym again because your DUMB BODY doesn’t like to just MAINTAIN the WORK that you do. Oh, no. That would be way too much to ask. Must we really work this often? The time between workouts, oh, it goes so fast.
According to this logic, I feel it is fair to submit that not working out will make your life longer. Or at least it will feel longer. And what’s more important, reality or perception of reality? There’s a philosophical beast for you to ponder. But, hey! Let’s talk it over! I have the time! Because I am so not going to the gym tonight.
