My favorite part of today was when i asked one of my patients what they needed, and they yelled, “I JUST WANT SOME FUCKING ATTENTION!!!”

The nurse in me was all, “hey, at least the patient is self-aware, right? That’s gotta indicate good things about their current cognition level & orientation.” The non-nurse part of me just laughed, because that is a hilarious thing to yell down a hospital hallway.
